At Hearing AuD, we help you choose hearing aids based on your hearing needs, daily activities, and budget. Your care includes personalized fitting, guidance on using your devices, and support throughout your first year.

Complete hearing-aid packages start at $2,500 per pair for first-time users and $2,300 per pair for experienced users.

Starting prices apply to Basic receiver-in-canal hearing aids and include professional fitting and first-year hearing care. Standard, Premium, and custom options are also available. We provide an individualized quote outlining your devices, included care, and any additional fees before you purchase.

You also have the right to a Good Faith Estimate that explains what your medical care will cost.

Your Fitting & First-Year Hearing Care

Successful hearing-aid use takes time, careful adjustments, and professional support. Your fitting and first-year care include:

  • Programming tailored to your hearing loss and listening needs.
  • Instruction on hearing-aid use, care, and maintenance.
  • Follow-up appointments to review comfort and everyday performance.
  • Programming adjustments and hearing-aid maintenance during your first year.

First-time users receive additional guidance to build confidence with their devices. Experienced users receive care tailored to their previous experience and current needs.

A Fit Verified for Your Ears

Real-ear verification measures how your hearing aids deliver sound inside your individual ear canals.

During this process, your provider gently places a thin microphone tube alongside your hearing aid. As recorded speech plays, we measure the amplified sound and compare it with targets based on your hearing loss. These measurements, together with your feedback, help us refine your settings.

Real-ear verification is included with Standard and Premium devices. A separate fee applies to Basic devices.

Continued Hearing Care

After your first year, care focuses on maintaining device performance and responding to changes in your hearing and listening needs.

Continued care may include professional cleaning, performance checks, troubleshooting, and programming adjustments. Choose an Annual Hearing Care Plan with defined appointments and benefits, or pay for care and maintenance appointments as needed. We explain the included care and fees before you decide.

Insurance & Hearing Benefit Programs

We can help you understand whether your insurance or hearing benefit program contributes toward your care. Eligibility, device pricing, and included follow-up care vary by plan.

Hearing-aid fittings include one year of follow-up care, except certain very basic UnitedHealthcare Hearing plans. We review your specific benefits and any additional fees before fitting. Call 412-231-9265 and we can check your coverage for you.

Manufacturer warranties are separate from professional follow-up care. We also explain repair coverage, loss and damage terms, and applicable claim fees for your selected devices.
